means “tailor"
You could say that's what I am, with a little panache, thanks to the "n" supplanted at the end of my last name. Tailor to many possibilities.
How do you say it?
Simple, drop the "z" and you're golden
Sah-bon = Szabon

Yup, that’s truly me in a nutshell.
I have always had my head in the clouds but was never so clouded in vision that I didn’t have my nose to the grindstone as well.
I know what I love, what I tolerate and
what I won’t put up with.
I’ll speak loudly when there’s something I don’t agree with and I’m not afraid to take on challenges because the results might just be worth it.
I'm deeply motivated by results, overjoyed watching others succeed and am always chasing new ideas. With a deep passion for sharing knowledge, stories and connecting people it's no surprise that public speaking and networking come naturally to me.
What do you do?
Strategy, graphic design, advocacy consultant and more
Call it a mixed bag of many things BUT it's given me the tools and confidence to take on a variety of roles that end up all meshing together.
Marketing and graphic design require keen eye, understanding of language and a strategy for the long run.
Building a marketing strategy requires information gathering, planning and creative insight to solve problems that haven't happened yet.
Advocacy demands a strong strategy, long-term thinking, and the ability to bring all of the above into a solid discussion for positive change.
I see connections many don't, I can identify marketing plots before they are revealed, and I'm a firm believer that businesses (both large and small) can speak to a topic of social need without risking breaking their brand. It just takes some creativity, eloquent copywriting and solid knowledge of what you are representing.
No stranger to Struggle
Certainly no stranger to challenges that life throws at us.
From Bobsleigh crashes, business closures, self-employment failure,
reinvention and so much more.
I know that this life is so full of blessings that
even an epic crash cannot get me down!

Sports
pretty much 80% of what has molded who I am.
Talk about a gift to be able to try as many sports as possible in a small town! Everything (but hockey) was on my calendar of things to do which led to:

Business
The dream business came to life, then was forced to close. Likely the biggest struggle of my life.
Outside of the struggle of closure I have been so blessed to have learned early on that I do not work well for others (at least the traditional others that micromanage, clock watch and hold double standards) AND I realized I couldn’t just sit behind a computer all day so I tried to balance my creative side with my athletic side.
Freelance Graphic Design has always an element of my entrepreneurial spirit and is a big part of the bread and butter to this day.
I opened a gym in 2016, closed the gym in 2020 (need I say more) and shifted magnificently to a life and schedule I truly adore. Offering graphic design, strategy, consulting and encouraging people to advocate for themselves in their lives.
I’ve made numerous mistakes, opened a physical business with far less cash flow than I should have, wisely closed a business before the song and dance of “2 more weeks” came on again and with a positive mindset have always landed on my feet.
I’ve been coaching people for over 15 years, offer consultations, strategy services for marketing and politicians and know what it’s like to build something when everyone else says “you’re crazy.”
I’m here to provide what wasn’t available to me without alternative motives, demands or unspoken expectations.
